Fostering Dreams Volleyball was established in March 2020 by Vallery Mitchell, who serves as both the Founder and Director of the organization’s training, recreational, and pre-club programs.

With a mission to provide competitive volleyball training and team opportunities for athletes in Southern Dallas County, Fostering Dreams Volleyball is grounded in a “Mission First, People Always” philosophy. The organization is currently based at the DeSoto Recreation Center, with additional programming offered through the Dreamers Volleyball Academy at the Glenn Heights Community Center.

Effective June 2025, Fostering Dreams Volleyball will focus exclusively on the following programs:

  • Community Volleyball Skills Training (3rd–8th grade athletes)

  • Recreational Teams (3rd–8th grade athletes)

  • Pre-Club Development Programs (6th–8th grade athletes)

  • Private Lessons (All ages)

  • Positional Training (All ages)
